1. When is the club volleyball season?
Club volleyball in Manitoba runs from January to May. Tryouts take place in late November or early December.
Practices begin in early January, and the season concludes with Nationals in May.
2. How old does my child have to be to tryout?
15U includes youth going into Grade 9 and 10 who were born between September 1, 2011 - December 31, 2012 .
3. How often are practices and tournaments?
• Three two-hour practices per week
• Strength and conditioning once a week
• 2-3 tournaments in Winnipeg and surrounding areas
• One out of town tournament (*eg. Brandon, requires travel and accommodations)
• Provincials April 23rd - 25th in Winnipeg, MB
• Nationals May 12th - 15th in Edmonton, AB (*requires travel and accomodations)
*travel and accomodations are not included in club fees.
4. Where are practices held?
